What age groups do you accept?
We accept children in the following age groups:
- Infants: 3 months – 18 months
- Toddlers: 18 months – 3 years
- Preschool Age: 4 years and up
What are your operating hours?
Our hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
We follow the Plainfield Public School calendar for holidays and weather-related closures.
Do you offer full-time and part-time care?
Yes.
Full-time care: 4–5 days per week
Part-time care: 2–3 days per week
Is there an enrollment fee?
Yes. There is a $75 non-refundable enrollment fee required to secure your child’s spot.
When is tuition due?
Tuition is due on the last day of your child’s week of care, at drop-off or pick-up.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept:
- Cash
- Check
- Electronic payment (Venmo – includes a $3 processing fee)
- Care4Kids
A $25 late fee will be charged if payment is not received on time. Any non-sufficient fund check fees are the parent’s responsibility.
What happens if I pick up my child late?
A late pickup fee of $2.00 per minute will be applied for children picked up after closing time.
What does a typical day look like?
Our daily routine (age-adjusted) includes:
- Quiet free play & breakfast from home
- Morning circle time
- Arts & crafts
- Sensory and fine motor activities
- Outdoor play (morning & afternoon)
- Lunch and table manners
- Nap/quiet time
- Snack and story time
- Music, movement, and creative play
We maintain a structured yet flexible routine to support learning and development.
What should I send with my child?
Please label all items and provide:
- 3 seasonal outfits
- Diapers (2 full packs)
- Wipes (4 full packs)
- Diaper cream
- Water/milk cup or bottle
- Soothing item (if needed)
- Bibs (if needed)
- Nap items (blanket, pillow, stuffed animal)
- Sunscreen
What is your sick policy?
To protect all children and families, children must stay home if they have:
- Fever of 100°F or higher
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Contagious illness (COVID-19, flu, RSV, pink eye, lice, etc.)
- Breathing difficulties
- Uncontrollable cough or nasal discharge
- Unexplained rash (doctor’s note required)
- Lethargy
If a child develops symptoms during the day, they must be picked up promptly.
A doctor’s note is required before returning after a contagious illness.
Do you administer medication?
Yes, I am Med/Epipen trained.
What is your vacation policy?
Regular tuition is due regardless of attendance to hold your child’s spot.
One Week Free Vacation Benefit:
- Available after 1 year of continuous enrollment
- Applies to full-time children only
- Must be used Monday–Friday in one full week
- Requires 2 weeks written notice
- Unused weeks do not roll over
What holidays are you closed?
We follow the Plainfield Public School calendar, including holidays and weather-related closures. Tuition is not prorated for these days.
What happens if childcare needs to be terminated?
Parents must provide two weeks written notice to terminate care.
Immediate termination may occur if:
- A child’s behavior is violent or threatening
- A parent’s behavior is threatening or abusive
- Tuition is two weeks or more delinquent
What qualifications do you have?
- 9 years of childcare experience
- Early Childhood Education coursework through CCRI
- CPR & First Aid certified
- Med/Epipen trained
- Ongoing professional training
