At Top of The Hill Family Child Care, your child will be welcomed into a warm, nurturing home environment where learning, play, and growth happen naturally each day. Led by experienced caregiver Lauren Ponte, who has nine years of experience and training in early childhood education, our program is designed to help every child feel safe, valued, and excited to learn.   • What age groups do you accept?

    Top of The Hill Family Child Care accepts children in the following age groups:

    • Infants: 3 months – 18 months
    • Toddlers: 18 months – 3 years old
    • Preschool Age: 4 years and up
  • What are your operating hours?

    Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM


    The daycare follows the Plainfield Public School calendar, including school holidays and weather-related closures.

  • How do you handle meals and snacks?

    • Breakfast: Brought from home (served between 7:00–8:30 AM)
    • Lunch: Served at daycare (11:15–11:45 AM)
    • Snack: Provided in the afternoon (2:00–2:30 PM)

    Children practice:

    • Handwashing before meals
    • Table manners
    • Structured mealtime routines

    Parents provide water/milk cups or bottles as needed.
